J-Global Mini MBA Business Game
This is a role-playing business game that allows participants to experience a global business startup. Participants plan a new startup service based on a theme. They form teams of four and compete with each other at the end of the game with their business pitches. The game is conducted in simple English, but Japanese support is available if necessary.

Game Overview
Participants will work together to simulate the creation of real business strategies for a Japan-Global organization. Each team will come up with a unique robotaxi business of the future to solve the transportation challenges facing a different major city around the world. The business content will cover the type of robo-taxi, the style of service, and marketing and sales strategies.

Clarify game flow, goals and success criteria

Take on roles
Clarify your game role (marketing, product, service, system) with similar role colleagues

Form teams
Participants will be divided into teams of four and asked to consider the needs of their assigned country and city.

Plan your strategy
Create your pitch as a team. Prepare templated slides with solution ideas.

Present and discuss
Give a 3-minute presentation and hold a 4-minute Q&A session. Then all members vote to determine the startup most worthy of investment.

Game facilitator introduction
Jon Lynch
Originally from the UK, Jon currently lectures on global business skills at Hitotsubashi University. After coming to Japan in 1990, he taught international business communication skills as a cross-cultural business instructor at major training companies, and then in media/marketing companies. He established the training and consulting company J-Global Co., Ltd. in 2010. Utilizing his extensive business experience in Japan, he has provided services to over 100 Japanese and foreign companies.
